Default Upgrading to 42 volt --- 36v or 48v solenoid

Upgrading my ez go from 36 to 42 volt. Going with a heavy duty 200amp 600 peak solenoid. Do I want the 36 or 48 volt version?

Choose the 48v version because typically the energizing coil will tolerate under voltage better than over.

Get a MZJ400 Super duty (400A continuous/1000A peak) solenoid that works at 36V, 42V and 48V. Not sure if the 200A will work at 42V.

Contact Scotty at Carts Unlimited to be sure.

Looks like he's already answered that question.

The 400 is a good option but the allowable voltage variance on our SW180 is +/- 20% so technically either one would work for 17.5% more voltage but the 48v is my choice
