Default Txt stutters when trying to accelerate

My series txt stutters when I push on the gas pedal. Batteries are 2017 so shouldn’t be bad yet right? Solenoid and pedal switch replaced this summer. Could it be the controller or some loose connection? Thanks all

is there any way you can check your pack voltage before and during operation ? your batts may be a bit low, also check and make sure all connections in batt pack, solenoid, are clean and tight.

Good pack voltage, 5 batteries above 6v and one just below 6. I’ll try and tighten cables tomorrow, need to find my sockets

That low batt is killing your pack. I'm sure it's bottoming out when a load is applied. Check water levels too, every cell.

So the one slightly low battery is causing the cart to stutter, it hardly moves.

I am a bit out of my league with this but I have a TXT shuttle that is a series. I have no clue if the set ups are the same but my shuttle was shuttering and wound up crapping out altogether. It ended up being bad motor brushes in my case. Again, I have no clue if this would apply to your cart, though.

Use this chart as a guide for your batteries.
Is your charger completing a full charging cycle?

It’s always a good idea to check that your cables are sufficiently secured, just be careful with the socket. You can over tighten and damage the battery.

The cables definitely should be inspected. If you have one that is too loose, or in bad shape, it would most likely be getting hot when the cart is having its problem. I would think you would have seen, or smelled something.

Check all of the big cables, including back to the motor. The f/r switch needs to be inspected too. If the solenoid clicks, your problem is not in the small wires. And, you probably need to check the pack, along with each individual battery. Fully charge the cart, then let it sit for 12 hours. Log the pack voltage and each individual battery. Then find a way to secure your dvm leads to the battery posts so you can do the same voltage checks while the cart is under load.

That low battery may drop way lower when a load is applied causing the stutter.

Checked cables and water as well as voltage when pedal is pressed on the bad battery and yes it goes down to 1v when pedal pressed so I’d say it’s bad. Need to replace the battery tray anyway because it’s rusting so I’ll do them both at the same time.
