Default Trade or Keep

I have CC precedent. Not sure the year but its the 4 battery 48 volt kind. 3 years ago I replaced the batteries now i'm having to do it again. Evidently the way the lights were wired it was just sucking off one battery. They are putting a converter or something on it this time to draw power from all the batteries. My question is should I sink the money into this cart or buy a new one. I'd hate for this to happen again in three years but i guess if its fixed right it should last for awhile. I've heard of runtime issues with the 4 battery CC's but this guy said its basically negligible for what I'm using it for which is tooling around the neighborhood. Thanks for any opinions in advance?

Your supplier is correct. If those are a high capacity A/H set, you will never have a problem. Have had many of them....

They can easily be converted to the eight/eight volt batteries. Just look in the stickys. Also the negative for the lights or converter should go to the B negative on the controller so that the amperage usage is measured by the OBC so that it gets put back during the charge cycle. If you put it on battery negative the OBC will never replace all the amperage.
