Alltrax- ezgo txt controller

Attached are screen shots from my Alltrax controller settings. My cart is 36v with the FR switch under the legs. Please help but i think its something set wrong thats not engaging my seleoid and its not clicking with accelerator petal push. cart wont move. Thanks for help

Sounds like no power at all. DCS cart has a reed switch in the charge receptacle which is easily damaged ... and bypassed.

Also select monitor and show us the full page with the key on, pedal depressed.

I'm pretty sure that was the same advice Scotty gave me years ago for my DCS cart when I converted, and it fixed my problem. Good luck.

Also, is there a quick fix to this "reed switch" or a new part to install? this is where i lost power before on cart and wanted to know what fix was to this reed switch deal to make cart move. Thanks for the help!

In that last shot the footswitch should be ON like the keyswitch if the pedal is down. THe reed switch may be the problem. I posted the quick fix earlier for you....so see all the attachments in this thread.

FYI the reed switch was such a common problem Ezgo eliminated it in 2005 opting for a controller lockout feature instead... so if you eliminate the reed switch be sure to run the charge cord through the steering wheel before pluggin in the cart so that nobody accidentally drives off with the charger plugged in

I'm still not getting anywhere on my cart. Batteries charged, the selenoid clicks pauses and clicks again when on and tow switch flipped on. Reed switch is bypassed like you told me above. The green light on controller is solid green. Something is not right in my settings i dont think. here is a screen shot of each page of settings and one with pedal pressed.. Let me know what you think or if i should reload a new file or something to the controller. Thanks! sorry for all the back and forth but this one is above my head.

The controller info on left side near the top of the screen shot says it is a XCT48400-DCS and a DCS motor does not have a speed sensor.

All XCT varieties except the DCS version do need to have the speed limit set to get optimal performance, but the DCS never had a speed sensor, so the DCS version of the XCT has software that is optimized without it. In other words, it works roughly as the DCX family of Alltrax legacy controllers.
