No Reverse ezgo txt

I have a 2002 Western golf cart that has ezgo txt electrical components. The reverse has stop working. I put a meter on the controller M negative terminal and B+ Positive, with the cart in forward the cart moves and the meter goes up from 0 to a continuous higher number when pressing on the (gas) pedal. Then I put the cart in reverse the reverse buzzer (is very loud) works, the cart does not move and the meter jumps from 0 to 44.6 and that is all it does.
Micro switch?
Controller?
F/R switch?

Which drive type is in those carts? There’s a sticky to help id it, if you’re not sure.

It has a ezgo txt, 42 volt electrical system with a 36 volt motor and the cart has 7 6v batteries.

Could you switch the wires on the F/R switch for a simple test to rule it out or not?

If it’s a series, which I think those carts were, he can switch the 3 and 9 o’clock cables.
