12 volt electrical issue
I have a 2009 Club Car Precedent 48 volt. When I turn the ignition switch on I hear the solenoid click, which I understand is good. I can go forward and back with no problem. If I turn on the lights or honk the horn the cart will just die. I than have to turn the ignition switch off and back on and cart will go. Anyone else ever run into this situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

to BGW
The solenoid should only click when you step on the go pedal, not when you turn the key to the on position. You have a 2009, which was the one year that CC used a TPS throttle. If your cart is still equipped with one, it should be converted to an MCOR for safety reasons. You can remove the access cover around the pedals to reveal the throttle. If it looks like the picture at the bottom of the page in this link, it's been converted to an MCOR already. If you don't see the adapter, you've got the old TPS. https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/tech---mcor-guide |
