Default TXT Motor

I have a 97 EZGO TXT. I have lifted it and put a 500 amp Alltrax controller on it. I need to now but a new motor on it. What is my best option for this?

Thanks.

www.plumquick.com

If your motor is in working condition, they can do a custom re-wind to do what you want it to do for half the cost of a new one.

The motor is best selected depending upon how the cart is outfitted and what, where, & how it is used ... There is no simple answer here. The motor that's best for the guy commuting in The Villages is not the best motor for the Deer Hunter.

I will be using it off road for hunting purposes in the Midwest and in Louisiana. I will be experiencing snowy, icy, and muddy conditions.

Thanks for the responses!

Sounds like you want a torque motor for that use. Plumquick can do that for you or there are a few motors out there for that as well. I am assuming this is a series cart. If it is a DCS cart then the options are a little less and Plum may be your better option.

Tell them it may get wet and they should be able to moisture proof it.
