New relay had no affect, amp meter still deflects to 20 amps when jumping relay. Will try and find the diode and replace. Rearend locked up this morning will make new post.

Since you're getting 20A, the diodes are good. No need to replace them.

The fact that the ammeter jumped to 20A after the relay was bypassed meant that the relay wasn't closing, not that the relay was bad.
More troubleshooting needed to make the call.

Since a new relay didn't fix the problem, either the control board is bad or the battery sense input to the control board is bad.

While charger is plugged into cart, check the voltage at the terminals on the control board with the Red and Black wires attached.
(Charger does not have to be plugged into AC power for this test.)
You should read full battery pack voltage between those terminals.

If so, the control board is bad.
If not, the battery sense circuit is bad.

I replaced what there was on the small board, and it still did not work. I purchased a board on eBay that replaced both boards for $60.00. It is back and operating fine. Thanks for all inputs, letitbe
