yeah shifting not so great, better now but still not perfect, maybe another couple hours it will be. it needs to be able to roll to start. but nothing to crazy.

Hi Crash, thanks for the info have you tried this with the gates 6098 belt? I just got one yesterday but haven't had time yet to try it. I will let every one know the out come.

Just a helpful hint about belts. I have a 2007 TXT gas and found the Gates HP2012 to work perfectly as a replacement. I got it at Advance Auto Parts...cheapest belt replacement I found.

Before the engine swap I installed the Gates 6098. After a few hours break in it was everything I expected. Much better torque and driveability. But it was so tight I had to cut it off when I swapped in the VC625.

If the engine was stock I would do it again.
