Problem with Final Drive
My company has a 2006 Gas Powered EZ-Go TXT. I was told it had a problem of flat tire that they kept fill up every day, this went on for a week. I had to finally switch it out when I was told that it no longer move under its own power. Please before any judgement, their were other things going on and an hour drive one way just to go get the things hence not changing the tire sooner.
When I start it up the engine starts fine, I can see the drive belt from the engine to transaxle engage and spin at both ends. The issue is not having any power to the tires. I have already checked the splines and rear hubs. They are fine, some wear but not alot. With someone else controlling the gas pedel I can freely spin the rear wheels in any direction with little to no resistance. I'm a little hesitent to tearing into the transaxle without first knowing what could have caused the issue and what to expect. |

Re: Problem with Final Drive
is the lever on the rear diff moving when you move the fwrd/rev handle? I know stupid question, but just asking like RUSTY is.
if you than you may have an internal issue. they are pretty easy/simple once you get inside of them. |
