txt not firing
Hi everyone. Iv had a recurring problem lately on my txt 96. It dies occasionally and looses the spark. Next time its ok when I come back to it. But now its wont get a spark at all. Iv cleaned the earthings and all the contacts. Iv changed the ignitor and I also get about 150 ohms from the pulsator. I only get about 10v out of the starter generator but I guess thats normal untill it fires up and turns faster. Any ideas?

Re: txt not firing
Lock it in neutral and if you jump it from another battery will it start? If so, once it starts check the voltage and see if it is charging. It is possible the voltage is too low to get a good spark

Re: txt not firing
Thanks ill try that. If I have a good healthy charged battery at lets say 12.6v what should I expect in voltage from the generator without the buggy firing?
