Shorter Belt for 1990 2 Stroke Marathon
I have what I think is a 1990 Marathon. Its a Workhorse 800 with the 2 stroke engine. Belt runs front to back same way wheels turn, not sideways like the earlier ones do.
Is Dayco HP3404 the belt that would be about 1" shorter than stock. Looking for more low end and hill climbing. Thanks |

what you have engine wise is reffered to as the 3pg model check site sponsors for the belt you seek

I would guess they would offer the stock size belt? Do you have a suggestion as to which vendor to go look at that may sell shorter ones?

Might try a Yamaha drive belt, J55-G6241. Same width, 2" shorter.
