Removing drive clutch
I ordered the replacement primary spring and want to install it. HOW DO YOU GET THE DRIVE CLUTCH OFF? No room for impact or socket!
Second, I have been trying to read about putting it in. Do I have t remove the drive clutch to put the spring in? I hope not... My cart is a 98 TXT. Thanks in advance for the help... |

Re: Removing drive clutch
First thing you should do is read this thread:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/ezgo-...go-clutch.html Many times information can be found on here by using the search feature of this site. Second: You can jack the side of the body up which will allow the engine to drop down enough to access the bolt and clutch. Third: You will need an impact wrench to both break the center bolt free and to drive the puller to pop the clutch off. You also should download the service guide which will give you all the information you need for the cart. |
