Ideas for headlights and tail lights
I have a 1992 marathon and want to put head and tail lights on. Is there a cut in bucket style available? Been searching but no luck.

Re: Ideas for headlights and tail lights
You can get a front cowl that is made specifically for the 89-94. Here is mine.

Ohhhh....,
The cowl, is there pricing on that? And I think there is also a complete kit with lighting included, but I couldn't seem to find that. No biggie because there are sites that do have them for $200 plus. Thanks E.Z. |

I used a 12" light bar for head lights and red led strip lights for tail lights. Around $60 and works great.

Re: Ideas for headlights and tail lights
I'm thinking a similar idea, it's a lot cheaper that way.
Looking at the previous picture, mine looks almost exactly like that other than the camo paint. I play around in the thick Northern Ontario jungle , so mine has a darker woodland like paint job on it to fool those herds of dinners that lurk in the woods. My idea was to get some blackout lights from a military "deuce and a half" and mount them in the top corners on the main body and a small simple cowl between the lights, or fabricate a small short tapered hood with fenders and make a small lookalike cowl much like the GMC deuce and a half's original with the lights in the front, and do it that way. I want something different from what others have, so I'll be messing around with the ideas, and I'll post pics once I am done. The new cowl with the light kit looks nice though, so if I get lazy then I might go that route. Take care, E.Z. |
