I did get a little bit of work done on the cart today.
I noticed the rear drum was missing two studs - thus leading to a broken rim; SMH.
Luckily studs are easy to replace, available locally, and I had a spare rim/tire combo.

I did get one of the rear body panels complete and duct tape removed from the tired and old, plastic and rubber.

Still a lot to do...

Thanks- Ironmonkey.

I did order a belt today. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EZGO-Drive-B...item3cbee83a76

The belt states it fits both the 2&4 cycle. This belt measures 40-3/4" diameter. The other one that fits measures 41" - so from what I was reading - better performance with shorter belts; yay.

I went with the smaller belt on my ez-go, it improves on the torque with the larger wheels and I adjusted my governor, not full speed 24mph had it up to 28mph controlling it with my hand.. down fall with mine is when you hit the pedal it starts to move right away from the starter and if I'm on a hill and I can't make it up, its hard to get it back into reverse, belts too tight to allow the rear end to disengage, its gotten a little better with the wear of the belt..

Thanks!
How do I adjust the governor? Is it just lengthing the bar/rod with the two ball joints?
Also noticed my driven unit does not have pilot washer and bolt holding it on.

I adjusted mine by tightening the nut and compressing the spring on top. Not sure if your cart is identical to my 93 4 stroke..

The bolt that holds the driven unit on is a 5/16" - #18 thread - 4" long. Then ordered pilot washer $7 http://m.ebay.com/itm/EZGO-Gas-Golf-...223?nav=SEARCH

Okay, so I installed new belt, new airfilter, and new carb. It does seem perform a lot better.

The old air filter was filthy. The old carb had sediment in it and missing mixture a/f screw.
