Workhorse Starter Micro Switch Replaceplacement
I have a 97 Workhorse that I suspect has a bad micro switch because if I just feather the pedal the starter spins fine, depress it further starts fine. But if you just mash down the pedal or even put it about a 1/4 of the way down the starter spins slowly. Has new solenoid and fairly new brushes. How do you access the switch? From the bottom by the pedal? I'm disabled and rather go under 1 time!

Re: Workhorse Starter Micro Switch Replaceplacement
I'm not sure that it's a bad micro switch causing your issue but the accelerator micro switch should be located in the rectangular shaped box under the floor mat approx. mid ways of the floor board;if you roll the mat back from the right side of the cart you'll see the black plastic cover held in place with 4 phillips head screws .
