Re: Predator 670cc
You might want to contact vegascarts as they now have install kits and headers for EZGO carts using the predator 670 engine.

I won't have reverse if I swap out my factory motor?

Re: Predator 670cc
That's been my biggest challenge. I prematurely picked up a ezgo marathon because it was gas and I had the intention of tossing in a Predator twin. I was at that time, unaware that's they ran the 2 strokes backwards and didn't have an option to shift into reverse. So I'm going to work on refreshing the 2 stroke setup so we can enjoy the cart with reverse. A friend of mine had a power drill kit for his Harley trike build for reversing into and out of parking spots and that would be enough for me, but as of now, the plan is to rebuild.
The nice thing about having a gas cart and converting is that with the correct placement and belt length, you can just put in the engine and drive clutch and take it from there. But there are some that gut the electric carts put a sprocket on the motors shaft then a typical TAV. |

Re: Predator 670cc
Yeah I think I will just put a high torque clutch spring in and call it good. I hope that works. I am putting a 4" lift and 22" tires on it
