Default How can you clean a Yamaha g2 exhaust?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has had problems with there g2 exhausts?
With the cart backfiring? And also not starting off the mark once the motor is hot?

I took mine apart, they do not go back together, either run some fuel related chemical or replace.

Do not put anything flammable in the muffler. Best way to clean is to drive it at a higher rate of speed for long periods of time!!

I agree, also backfiring is most likely a carb or cable adjustment.

Could be carb or leaking air into the intake or air box. Could also be the ignitor try to swap it with a known good one. Also try a new plug.

Should never have a problem with the muffler unless the cart is burning oil for a long period of time.
