01 txt oil leak
Looking for help, have a oil leak on my 2001 ezgo, have replaced head gasket, cam cover gasket, seals on both sides, valve cover gasket. Could it be the crankcase cover gasket? Are these prone to leak? Any help will be helpful.

Re: 01 txt oil leak
often on TXT's that leak the culprit is the oil filter O-ring - if the surfaces aren't clean when a new filter and O-ring is installed, it can cause a leak, same thing if the O-ring isn't seated correctly or gets pinched

I will give that a shot. Maybe I had multiple leaks and that is final one. I sure hope so.

Re: 01 txt oil leak
I have had a few Robins leak at the top of the crankcase gasket. Yes the top! I douched the area clean as a whistle with brake Kleen and temporarly loaded it with Permatex rtv copper. Eventually though ya gotta bite the bullet and replace the gasket

Re: 01 txt oil leak
At the top of the block behind the blower housing is the oil pump. It has a cover that looks like the oil filter, often the o-ring seal will leak as it is under pressure. Cooling air flowing past it will distribute leaking oil to other area's of the crank case. Another place to look.
