shaft size
does anyone know the shaft size [clutch side] on a g2? thinking about puting a predditor 420cc motor in it, i think the shaft size on it is one inch, has anyone done this? what is involved, seen one on youtube but he did not go in to detail

Go to the clones section in big blocks, lots of info there. You need a taper adapter to run a stock G2 or G9 clutch on a 1" crank like the clone has. Usually have to cut the crank shorter or the clutch is out too far, and in G9 the recoil hits the fuel tank if you don't. It is not that bad, the crank is not hard or anything. Make sure your clutch is in reasonable shape or you might be better off forking out for a new one with your swap. Rebuilt parts for the G2/9 clutch are not cheap and you will end up fixing it one way or another.
