Default G14 engine rebuild

Having trouble finding parts for the g14. Want them on hand before I disassemble and I'm not finding any kits or individual parts. Any ideas?

Would a complete tear down of the the engine be necessary is replacing rings, or should I just go for everything.

The key is going to be the piston/cylinder fit and go from there.

Is it possible to take the plastic shroud off without pulling the motor

Just pull the engine especially for what you need to do.

Consider dropping the swing arm off the chassis and working from there

Removing the engine out the top is actually really easy, and a roughly 30 minute job. No reason to possibly compromise the build trying to mickey-mouse around with the motor in the cart.
