Yamaha G1AM4 golf car engine runs wild
Engine starts but runs wide open. checked throttle cable it is OK. carb not sticking could the governer cause the problem. FYI this my first attempt at posting. Hope I'm not breaking any rules.

It's not common on Yamaha but I know on other models the butterfly plate in the carb can break and makes the motor "all or nothing" I'd take a look in the carb make sure this isn't the issue
