Default G1 Seat Heat Cure

The front of my G1 seat gets real hot from the muffler. To stop this, I used a piece of 1" blue dense foam insulation, a piece of sheet metal, and all stainless hardware. I used a 2" #10 oval head screw, a trim washer, 2 lock nuts, and a fender washer for each hole in the trim plate. I put the screws through the trim panel, the body, the metal support, then use a fender washer and a lock nut. After all of them were in I pushed the insulation on over the screws. Eye balled where the holes need to be drilled in the sheet metal. Then installed the sheet metal with the remaining lock nuts.

That was one of the first things I did after I got it. It didn't seem to help much.

One other thing you may want to do is full the shrouds off the motor and make sure there isn't a bunch of oil and dirt stuck to the motor clogginf the cooling fins

Never used it on a cart but I have used it with other applications. Stuff like this works well:

Pulled them at the same time I did the muffler, they were packed full like mice had gotten into them.
