CGTECH, 10amp fuse is safe? I have this same issue. Upgraded to 500amp alltrax, Admiral high speed motor, and hd solenoid. Worked great for 2 days, sat in my garage a week and now it’s totally dead. 3A fuse is blown, put a 5a fuse in the slot and it instantly blows when I flipped it from tow to run. Replaced it with another 5 and it blew again instantly. Why did the 3A work for 2 days if the 5A won’t even work for 1second?

Thanks!

I would like to see where this is printed in the manual.
And if it is required why is it not included !?

Alltrax closes at 5:30 central so I will call them in the morning and ask for recommendation and where to find it in the manual.

This was the only example I could find for Yamaha and XCT. It's for G22, but Drives used the same solenoid (most all "Trombetta bear"), same 3a fuse, same fuse location on cart.

I'm with you Scotty, the fuse in question is not on the current or older Alltrax XCT drawing. It is shown on the Yamaha drawing. And, there is nothing in the instructions for the G29 XCT about changing that fuse. I have 4 lithium packs in YDRE's with XCT400's and never a fuse issue (knock on wood). Never heard of this. To blow a fuse like that, a direct short, will not be fixed with a 10A fuse. There is a problem besides fuse size.

Drawings attached, Yamaha YDRE wiring, XCT old and new wiring drawings. The latest XCT is Rev F.

Apparently there are 2 threads on this topic right now. I posted in the other thread Alltrax has responded saying Alltrax recommends the 10a fuse upgrade and the manual will be amended.

Cgtech, that diagram says 60vdc 10a fuse... all my ato fuses are 32vdc 10a? When I googled the larger one it does not look like a blade fuse at all? Thanks
