question on Curtis LED battery meter
I bought one of the cheap LED battery meters and it will drop one bar when the cart starts to slow down. As it continues to slow down, it might drop one more bar and then very quickly it will go to yellow/red when cart literally won't move. It has let me down several times where it barely made it home. I've read up on the Curtis LED meters and my question is are they much more reliable? I don't want to go to the numerical read out as my kids drive it often and the LED colors are much easier to read.

Re: question on Curtis LED battery meter
I always say the LED Battery meters are a 'cool toy' because that's all it is. it looks cool, but it's hardly accurate. Many cars are dead in the water after that meter reads half or 3/4, some go on forever long after it's blinking dead, and some never reset after you recharge the car.
