Go out and test your battery on your car maybe your meter isn't working correctly

Resting 15+volts is way overcharged. Perhaps you're reading a surface charge... odd it would hang around that long... but try and put a load on the battery. Then let it sit 10 minutes and test. Or take it in and have it tested. As for why its overcharging have you checked all the grounds? If the regulator only "sees" the battery at 13v because of a voltage drop due to a bad ground then it could cause issues |
