Default Axle maintenance procedure - '08 YDRE

Hi, does anyone have instructions on how to perform maintenance on the transaxle on a 2008 YDRE? Reading some threads here I have learned I need to change the oil and grease the hubs. Anything else?

Are there instructions anywhere? Better yet, anyone have a service manual that can be shared in digital format?

I can scan the pages from the manual if you like. It only says change the oil and inspect brakes at 4 years. If you'd like me to send them shoot me your email.

In my experience, 4 years isn't often enough for the Team "wet brake" axle. When you drain it and see how nasty the oil is due to that brake material, you may understand why I suggest a shorter interval.

gotta agree with cgtech that team axle should be drained and fluids replaced at least every 2 years in my opinion.

Thanks all for the tips. Any input on greasing the hubs? I have not even taken the wheels off, so it may be straightforward - I just want to be prepared to get it all done at once when I drop in my Plowman Riot Kit.

Did the Riot Kit upgrade this past weekend, and I did the oil change as well. It doesn't seem like I was able to get as much back in as I drained out. The cart does have a 6" lift, so I tried to jack up the rear end and make the fill hole a little more level. Still not sure I got 44 oz back in.

Is there any videos on doing the transaxle change? Just got the cart and want to do this as not sure when it was done last.

Take the plastic cover off the bottom of the bag well and you will see an allen bolt with a large head. That is the fluid fill. There is the same size bolt/plug at the bottom of your differential, which is the drain. I haven't seen any videos, but there are more detailed steps if you search this forum. I have an electronic copy of the service manual if you want it.

Facing this work in the near future. Is there a suggested oil to be used and quantity for refilling?

Yamalube friction modified shaft drive gear oil 80w90 was the factory fill. 44oz.
