Re: Advice on purchasing a g2/g9 gas
Up here in snow land, right now is a great time to call dealers about carts. They know they wont sell a cart until april at the earliest. Way back when I bought my cart we bought 10 of them with a foot of snow on them. If they didn't start we didn't take them. Got a heck of a deal too.

Re: Advice on purchasing a g2/g9 gas
Hijacking the thread,
I see this one and no other info. Almost two hours away and figure it's "Come and look at it". At this price I'm guessing it's worth the roller. |

personally, if it was close it might be worth going to see and offer around 400ish for it, but don't think I would go much higher than that. given the body, unknown condition of the motor, the choke cable appears to be missing so who knows what else is also missing... It's probably worth somewhere in the 2000-2500 range in perfect condition, but it's going to cost a good chunk of money and time to get it there. but for a few hundred bucks, worst case it's a complete heap of garbage, you could still part it out and make your money back from it and then some. Finding a replacement G8 cowl is not going to be easy. It's not like a TXT or a CC DS that they used basically the same body for nearly 20 years so spares are easy to find. it's a 25-30 year old cart and that body was only made for abour 5 years or so. Plus OEM engine parts are also not easy to find, trust me. Just one man's opinion anyway. |

Re: Advice on purchasing a g2/g9 gas
It's a lady selling it, so she's probably asked someone
their opinion of what is the most she can get for it in it's current condition. At a 2 hour drive just to go look at it, and I'm not going that way any time soon, it will have to wait. Thanks for the opinion CP241, I appreciate it ! |
