Castle Nut Thread Size and Pitch
I am wanting to pick up some castle nuts for the tie rod ends on a 2001 txt gas but i am unable to find the correct size actually listed anywhere. I have misplaced the old ones so any help in identifying the correct size would be great and thanks in advance.

Re: Castle Nut Thread Size and Pitch
7/16-20. ( SAE fine threaded nut ) They changed these front axles sometimes in 2001. I am assuming you have the old style being you need castle nuts. Most parts stores should have these. I have used a regular 7/16th SAE nut then used a hacksaw to make my own castle nut.
