Bringing back an old post because I have the same problem. I have an '09 MPT 1200 with the 13hp Kawasaki that the intake rocker is not centered on the valve. This caused the rocker to chew into the retainer. The pushrod is already as far as it can go against the inside of the head. I beveled the edge of the rocker with a diamond file hoping that will help but that's not going to fix the off center..
This is a manufacturer defect of either the rocker stud drilled in the wrong place or something else.. Any one else seen this before?  [/URL] [/URL] [/URL] |

Did the valve lock slip causing the valve to drop down, now the lifter is contacting the retainer?
