Re: 96 club car question about ccw an cw what is the easyest
Ok I got the shift bracket in ups can someone snap a shot where it mounts too? For the life of me I can't line it up anywhere ? Any help would be aprecaitied. An just one last question for anyone who has done this swap did you have to trim or notch the lower skid/ plate that holds everything up? I've just sat it all in place at the front side if the rearend is hit that plate or did you shim the diff out away from it???? Please help!

I'm not sure... but the driven clutch springs really aren't that expensive,
I'd say leave that one on there, and get a new one for the trans axle that your going to keep! my .02 |

Re: 96 club car question about ccw an cw what is the easyest
I'm in the process of doing a similar swap. One thing I found out is that you have to change the spring in the driven clutch because it's wound in the opposite direction and the driven clutch won't open up like it should. You need a spring out of a ccw clutch and that is a problem because the only way you can buy it is to get the cam kit which consists of the cam and the spring. This costs about $55.00 when all you need is a $10.00 spring. So far a haven't been able to locate the spring.A spring out of another brand might work, but I don't know for sure.
