1991 DS Gas Throttle too touchy
Hello, I recently purchased a 91 DS. I put a 6" lift, and power spring on. When I got it all back together the throttle seemed more sensitive than before. Even if you barely press the pedal it will wind out until the govenor kicks in. I figured the throttle cable must be too tight so I thried adjusting the cable right where it comes out of the black box and it didn't seem to help. Is that the correct place to adjust? Are there other things I should check? Thanks

Re: 1991 DS Gas Throttle too touchy
Ok, after looking a little closer I think I figured out what was going on. The linkage from the the throttle to the transaxle was keeping the throttle open. I loosened the bolt and slid the linkage until the throttle was closed and then retightened the bolt. Now it is much smoother and easier to drive.
