88 belt
so I put the 87 and older belt on my stock 88, it's a 1/2" shorter. so what's going to be the difference?
seems it's slow and I can't push it around by hand like my Yamahauler G2. is it worth spending the 33 bux for the 1/2 longer belt? seems it would ride higher in the driven pully giving me more low end, and prob the same for the high end? |

Re: 88 belt
That's what they say, up to 1" shorter will give more low end torque with little high end speed loss. They also say it will take a tank or two to wear the belt in before thing feel like they are running normal again. I have the shorter one for my 87, but I haven't tried it out yet.
