Tachometer question FE350
Has any one successfully put a tach on a FE 350?
I have a 2009 Precedent. I have searched the posts but cant find any thing positive. |

I found it on ebay for about $15- 20.As far as the brand. It's a tiny tach nock off.
It works good. And has a hour meter and a service reminder. Sorry I don't have a name brand for it. The paperwork is generic. There is not a name brand anywhere on the paperwork. |

There is a member here goes by etech he has developed a sensor kit.
That works well with any of the Glow shift tachs that say they work on engines from 1-10 cylinders. The sensor is mounted the starter/generator pulley and clocks RPM from there. He sold me the kit so this is what I am going with. I think it is Very inexpensive for what you get. |

I used a yamaha brand tach/odometer combo which also has a service reminder built in as well. They are kinda pricey at 45-50$ but very easy to hook up and work great on my yamaha cart. Just a simple 22 guage wire you wrap around the plug wire 5 times and secure with ziptie and the other end just slides in a groove on the tach.
