Default G14 won't start

It just stopped running one day and was leaking gas out of the carb so I changed the carb and the spark plug and now it just cranks over and won't fire I checked and I have spark are the carbs adjusted from the manufacturer? Any ideas would be great. Thanks

Engines needs spark (at the right time), compression, and fuel. So far you have spark (assume it is at the right time). Shoot a little fuel into carb. and see what she does. A new carb. should be pretty close and not gunked up. Jets are fixed. Make sure fuel is getting to the carb. If still nothing, compression check is next. Good luck - RAY

I'm going to do compression test when I get home, I tried starting fluid in the carb and it fired over but nothing like it should and multiple squirts into it didn't do anything just kept cranking over with no start. Would the ignition cool be a problem? Thanks

Do that and then pull the fuel line at the carb and check for flow while cranking.

Plug could have been fouled beyond repair when the "over fueling" occured. Sometimes a fouled plug wont ever work right again, even after its dry.

Has a new plug. It hardly fires with starting fluid. Ignition timing maybe? Any idea what the compression should be?
