Club Car President
I have been told by several people that I should use Trojan 12 volt batteries in the Presidents because they are the only ones that are fully compatible with the charging system. Is this true?

Re: Club Car President
The only limitation I am aware of is that to convert to 8v batteries, the OBC has to be built after January 2008.

Re: Club Car President
Just by pass obc and get a Dpi charger. 8V setup gives you much longer runtime. Or see if you can change out the OBC with a newer one? I don't see why you couldn't just swap obc's

Re: Club Car President
On some, the OBC should be updated. Or like others said, get a DPI and forget the OBC system.
