Can I replace this with any 12v Battery, or would I need a Club Car Specific battery?

Thanks!
Michael
Michael, as you've already seen in other posts the real simple answer to your question is no. I've attached to this post two "Stickys" that talk about Battery Comparisons as well as future maintenance for them. Your cart requires a specific type of battery that can deliver the amps needed to run your motor for long periods of time and accept recharging over and over again as well. Trojans are what came with your cart from Club Car and are still considered to be the best batteries for the job!

It's also best to replace the whole pack.. how many times do you replace just one battery in a flashlight?

If you try to be cheap with golf car batteries it WILL cost you more.

Yes. If one battery is completely dead and the others are v. low there will not be enough voltage present for the charger to see that it is plug in.....that is why 2 chargers wouldn't come on you need to make a trip up there and see if you can still save the others. Harbor freight sells a load tester cheap enough for every cart owner to have one...Why guess? It sounds like it is time for you to buy a set of batteries. AND to lighten up on these guys who have heard the same questions 10,000 times ....
