Forward switch moves my cart
Have I think a 08 club car and the solenoid was just replaced same with the micro switches and when I put the cart in forward the cart wants to move/go ??? What is wrong with it

DS or Precedent?
If it’s a DS I’d bet you mixed up the wires on the 2 microswitches in the black box. One of them goes to ground when you release the pedal to kill the spark. The other one goes to ground when you press the pedal to activate the solenoid and make you go. |

No clue what a TG is. AG would be a gas DS and PG would be a precedent. Maybe it’s a carryall/xrt? Pretty sure they all work on a similar principle though, I’d check the microswitches. People are stupid and just because it was hooked up that way doesn’t make it right...

I got it to go forward the right way now I have no reverse? But the buzzard is going off lol

TG = Villager 4 Gas (DS 4 seater)
08 = 2008 36 = week of manufacture So now you know what cart you have! I added a pdf of the parts list for a 2008 DS, the only difference is the rear seat, and headlights. There's a wiring diagram on pages 6-2 and 6-3 that should help you figure stuff out.  |
