name's joel, been a lurker on here for awhile. and really like the info I have read through so far. looking for forward to getting my ezgo going.

but i have a small problem, I have rewired the cart and followed the wiring diagram for mine to a T but I cannot get the cart to go forward with everything wired as normal. motor runs great and will drive in both directions but the F-N-R switch doesn't seem to be working.

I have checked the micro switches and they all seem to work but still no forward, reverse works great but no forward???????? any thoughts out there?????

oh forgot to mention, 1994.5 ezgo marathon, solid state.

Welcome to BGW

Sound like the F/R switch may have a bad contact. Try this.....with the pedal slighty depressed...enough to get the solenoid to click and give it a little juice.....wiggle the F/R switch back and forth a little to see if it makes contact at all...the cart will jump a little if it does. If it does then one of the contacts is bad and either needs a good filing or replacing.
