Default Tinted windshields

Anyone tackle tinting their windshield. I've done plenty of glass ones but never a plastic one. Are these acrylic or polycarbonate or a blend of both. Looking at doing a amber color

The local tinkers here won’t tint the windshield. Before I bought my cart a freind of mine who tints windows for a Living came to my house and tinted my house windows. Mind you house window tint and car is different. He left me some and for the hell of it I tinted my windshield with no problem. The question came up what happens if you need to remove it. I removed it and had a ton of glue left on the windshield.i actually used Paint Thinner on it without any damage done. It took a while but came off

Tinting has many advantages. Firstly, tinting reduces the transmission of ultraviolet and infrared radiation through the windows, which makes a trip on a hot sunny day more comfortable. You can also install window shades. Secondly, based on the first point, tinting protects the upholstery from burning out and slows down plastic parts' aging process. Thirdly, the tinted glass protects the car's interior from prying eyes, creating personal space. And finally, the fourth, tinted car looks more solid, which is subjective, of course, but it has a place.
