Please report back and let us know what the voltages are when fully charged as I'm really curious how even 4 batteries out of balance could all read the same voltage of only 12.98 if one is fully charged...

At this point I don’t believe its a balance problem as the charger never goes into bulk mode. The LED is always green which points to a charger problem. Just because its putting out 58v doesn’t mean its working as it should. Do you have a way of measuring the charge current?

I have put everything back together and SNAFU. I have sent a detailed timeline to Allied but I am all but certain that the charger is malfunctioning.

Here are pictures of the charger and the Allied meter showing the charge % when I hooked everything back up and 1/2 hour later. Notice there are no amps flowing.

I will get my amp meter out of the garage later but I am pretty certain it will reflect what the charger's meter is showing. I am betting there is something inside the charger that is not sensing a delta in the battery status.

Any chance your charger has gotten wet? It looks a little worse for the wear

Could be. It is outside under the covered area where I park this cart.

It looks pretty rough. I believe allied’s newer style charger is waterproof and works with on board charging so that may work better for you anyway.

And I’d ditch that crappy allied meter and get a renogy. Much much much more accurate.

Could be a plan. Thanks for your insights. I really appreciate everyone on this forum. No BS, just good people.

Can you measure the total voltage and individual battery voltages with the charger connected please.

Also, that SOC meter is voltage based and is pretty much useless with LiFePO4. After all this is sorted get yourself a current (shunt) based meter. I use and recommend the Renogy 500A.

You can purchase the same, or very similar charger from Aliexpress.

Cheers
Pat.

12.91v for all three batteries, 51.7v for the pack when hooked up to the charger or not. SOC is 27%

I have used Aliexpress before. It's like going to Costco. Gotta dig a bit deeper but this looked enticing -
