Default desulfator

anybody had any experience with these desulfators. they sound good I 've probably got a pack of bad batts. the s.g. test shows borderline bad.

This has been debated a number of times on different forums. The consensus is that it don't work. Batteries sulfate to death and you can't stop it. Atleast that's what i hear everytime it comes up. Desulfanators are one of those things that are too good to be true. Good Luck......

I visited the exide plant in Baranquilla Colombia a few years back and they have a machine that does what the desulfator claims to do

They can buy your pack some time, but the end result will be the same, the batteries will need replacing.

Cool. Did you get a look at exactly what the desulfator was doing
or learn how it how it worked?

From what I understood it send a pulsating charge and a quick discharge this happens a bunch of times in short time and this brings back bats that have been siting in a warehouse a long time

Yeah, that's about how I heard it explained. Excites them back to life. Now, that may work on a battery that has gone way down from lack of use. But most batteries that are needing regeneration are of the type that are just at the end of their life cycle due to depleted plate material and in that case I don't think their is any help possible.
