bhfear,
Thanks for the reply. The controller wiring and battery wiring is fine. The wife is driving it back and forth to her job on a back road. It is the wiring for the accessories that has been hacked. There is a pushbutton on the dash I believe is for a horn, there is a 2 position pull switch for the running and head lights, no brake or tail lights and a radio that doesn't work. I was hoping to find a wiring diagram for those items. I know I could slowly clean it all up but a diagram would make things easier. I was also curious as to just what year it might be.

Thanks,
Dan

I also have a 42 volt Western built on the EZGO chassis except mine is white with red upholstery. And I have exactly the same problem. I travel about just fine but none of the accessories work... lights...cigarette lighter... radio .... blower ...

Drives around just fine but I sure can't drive at night with no headlights and can't take to the highway with no turn signals. Seems like the voltage gets to the controller but nowhere else.

It worked the first two years I had it, but now the accessories stopped working.

Also I am not sure how the wiring harness gets from the front dashboard to the batteries under the seat.

HELP!!

Smoky

All the wires from the "dash" Light switch, radio etc usually travel underneath the cart on the Drivers side and then come up into the battery box, Under the seat, the reason your lights may not work is fuses or bad battery connections (corrosion) coming from the lights to the 2 batteries giving you the 12v. the fuses on those westerns are usually inline fuses located right next to the 12v battery source, in your case two 6v batts.
