Default Yamaha g14 fuel pump/vacuum problem

Greetings, new to the site and hoping for some help. I've tried searching other threads but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. So here's my problem/questions. I have a 1995 Yamaha G14 gas engine. It's not getting gas to the carb and I have done all the fuel line basics. My questions is: how much vacuum should be on the vacuum line coming from the engine to the fuel pump. I can feel a slight vacuum when trying to start the engine but it's not much (not as much as with a car/truck).

Also, what is gap for the spark plug? Something that simple should be everywhere but no luck so far.

Sorry for the long question, but I did shorten it a lot before posting.

Thanks in advance for any help.

it should be a pulse, not a vacuum. not much is required for it to work.

Thanks cgtech. I'll play with it again tomorrow and see if I can get out going.

Try cleaning all lines if that doesn't help a rebuild of the pump might be in order

I guess a fuel pump rebuild is next on the list. Thanks Spicyunicorn.

Put a clear gas line on everything so you can actually SEE what is going on.
