Checked out the selnoid, OK. Butterfly fully closed. Cart ran fine for 4 holes then it started dieseling some of the time when stopping.

Jump the solenoid to spin the motor over and check spark at the plug. Don't push the gas or turn the key on. I want to see if the plug is firing without the pedal being pushed.

Why did you replace Igniter and Coil ?
If I remember not too long ago we had a post where someone got a
brand new defective Igniter .
Does anyone else remember this, or am I dreaming ?

The problem with this cart has been ongoing for about 2 years. I have had it to 3 different shops, spent nearly $300.00 and the problem of the cart would just quit running only to run again. Very hard to find the problem when it runs grate when it wants to. At one shop where we had no spark, we interchanged the RPM Limiter, and Igniter and the engine ran great. I disconnected the ground wire on the Limiter and installed a new Igniter. Found Specs to check components with an OHM meter. With the new coil(not easy to install) The cart runs great no stoping, but some times continues to run for a short time after it warm up, some times backwards.
The old igniter is OK. I have an extra one.

Let us know when you try this, I'm thinking when you let off of the pedal, you are stopping power to the solenoid and starter motor, but not killing spark at plug which the bottom micro does in the black box.

I could be wrong as a bearded lady but the only thing that makes an engine run on is fuel with extreme heat (carbon build up) or still has spark.

Tried the spark test with switch off, No spark. The cart runs great. Guess I'll just live with the dieseling. It might be carbon build up.
Thanks for all the ideas You guys are a good bunch.
Thanks again

Crash12888
I have ran out of posibilities to the problem. I have readjusted the throttle cable at the black box. I have tried adjusting it both ways and it seems to run better with the last setting. I have even run Sea Foam through the carb.
I'm still open for other suggestions from you and Scottb
Thanks for the help

So this just seems too obvious to me , am I missing something here ?
Why not put the old coil and igniter back on
If you installed them correctly, then 1 MUST be bad
