Controller Upgrade?
I have a 94 Yamaha G8E 36v. I put a 6in lift and 22in tires on. Don’t think the controller can handle this with the hilly roads in my campground. It’s fine for about 15-20 minutes then just quits. If I leave it sit for a minute or 2 I can continue. Does anyone know of a controller I can use to help me with this. I’ve been searching online but if someone has done it that would be great. Thanks

Re: Controller Upgrade?
The Alltrax SR and SPM lineups will fit your needs. You will have to replace cables with larger ones.

Re: Controller Upgrade?
Do you think I would be ok using the 300 amp? Or should I go to the 400. I’m fine with the stock performance I just dont want it to keep cutting out.

Re: Controller Upgrade?
I would go with the 400, or perhaps even 500. The small amp rating is the root of the heat problems you are encountering now.
