Lift kit on my 1987 Gas Club Car

The springs in the back were an absolute pain. I tried everything and finally had to do what Moped mentioned which is to cut the bolt on each side of the bushing. Since the front bushing and bolt are the same, I had an immediate replacement. Even with the bolt cut, I can't believe it still took a lot of effort to get it out. Why were the bolts on the front of the spring so bad?

I removed the body of the 1987 car and figured I would change it out since the 1987 body had some broked areas and I am also trying to install a Spindal Lift Kit on this car. The hardest problem is those darn leaf spring screws are frozen solid and wont come off. I finally figured I would unscrew the back of the leaf spring and just muscle the spring around the wheel hub to come up over the axle after removing the brake cables. I wish I would have thought of that before I stripped and grinded the one screw on the front of the leaf spring. And I still cant get the dang screw off. I guess I will have to drill it out. FUN FUN FUN !. Geeeeezzzzzzzz cant wait to get to the front of the car to install the spindals. Hopefully I will be done with the back side this afternoon. I will get pics up after I am all done. I is gonna be pretty cool looking with the custom wheels I ordered for it.
