Slack in steering
Anyone point me in the right direction to get the slack out of my steering on 1989 c/c

With the cart on the ground, have someone turn the wheel just to the point of slack. Look for what moves while they do it.
Jack the cart up in the air, grab the tire and try and move it. Again, pay attention to what moves (it should be tight). Most common is just tie rod ends but anything is poasible. Chances are all the rubber bushings are worn out or flat out just gone as well. Those will help, and are cheap. |
