Maverik, have you checked that the microswitches and the solenoid are working properly?

Not unless it is 36 or 48v whateber your system is? A simple digital voltmeter will.

its a gas, couple days ago i put the light to the soleniod and there was voltage there

scotty has brain farts at times. or there was tomuch smopg between him an d the sdreen, so he couldnt see clearly!

5 days and 3 pages for a starter that won't turn? And you wanna know why I can't concentrate I have built carts from the ground up in less time.
In answer to your question is Yes. A test light will test your 12v switches. I think that if you are still having trouble diagnosing this problem you should consider taking the cart to a qualified technician |

Update: i got it cranking this afternoon there was a messed up microswitch on the forward/reverse switch i guess i overlooked it, now i know how vital the micro switches are.
but i can't get any spark to the boot, could it be the box between the the boot and the engine deal that makes spark |

isnt a boot the hood? but the hood in this case would be a bonnet, or the trunk!
