Default ignition coil versus igniter

ok guys i will be short and sweet with this and to the point! I HAVE A JOHN DEERE WITH A KAWASAKI ENGINE that runs till it warms up then bogs down and dies off. how do i determine if ifs the igniter or the coil? it has both on this model. its basclly the same as the fe350 or 290. i can get the numbers in case you really need them. i also found the flywheel to hve 2 missing fins not on the magnet, or oppisite of each other, so a new flywheel is ordered as we speak. also this little babay is john deere coded for part, meanining i have to go to jd for parts listings, like the club cars are. thank you!

ok shadow(don i think) its a fc420v-bs00 engine. yes i know it is a john deere not a club car. it has both the igniter and the coil set up. funny thing about it, when it boggs downs, you shut it off and it runs ok then it repeats itself. im only asking cause i know most manufatctuers are based the same. thought one of the kawaski gurus would have a answer or sugestion.

thats a tough one cause they go in so many ways.........but after doing 100,s of them its 99% of the time ignitor, very rarely does the coil go unless its a coil/ignitor unit..............is the ignitor located anywhere it might be getting extra heat?.......................................
